Well, I know that zillions of theories are zooming around the net, so I decided to add a few of mine.

We can safely assume that R.A.B is Regulus Arcturus Black as TLC has reportedly confirmed the identity. [link]
I admit when I first read HBP I didn’t think it was Regulus but after getting sick of all the different arguments I sat down and wrote a report on it myself which just confused me more than ever. Then I spent hours browsing MN’s editorials and became convinced that R.A.B is indeed Regulus. A few days after TLC updated with the new info on Regulus.

So if we take it as a give in that it is indeed Regulus, where are the whereabouts of the Horcrux? Well, most people seem convinced that in Chapter 6 of OoTP entitled The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, in which they are cleaning 12 Grimmauld Place, JKR briefly mentions “a heavy locket that none of them could open” (Page 116) among a list of things they found. I’ve always wondered why Jo describes the cleaning in such detail.

Anyways, lets also take it as a give in that Aberforth is the barkeeper of the Hogs Head. He is mentioned several times, seems familiar to Harry, had long silver hair, attended Dumbledore’s funeral and Dumbledore also said in HBP that he’s ‘friendly with the local barmen’. And in HBP when Harry and Co. catch Mundungus with Sirius’s stuff, he is with the Barman of the Hogs Head a.k.a Aberforth. Now consider this – what if Aberforth bought the heavy locket that none of them could open? Wouldn’t it be fitting for Dumbledore to be gone, but for his wacked brother to be his replacement?

And about Snape… god, I just don’t know. I mean, there are so many theories now that I think that if I write my own it’ll just be snapped up by other contradictive theories. All I say is that I hope he’s innocent. I still luff my sevvykins.

Anyways, I was just browsing HP sites the other day and I came across all these hilarious fanfic summaries and I feel that I must share some of them with you.
